The HJUHSD Career Centers will offer evening workshops for students and parents/guardians to learn about and apply for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The workshops are not site specific. Students and families can attend the evening workshop that best suits their schedule.
The HW and SP workshops will be “Cash for College” events, where all seniors attending, submitting their applications, and completing a survey that evening will be eligible to win a $1,000 scholarship.

The Sierra Pacific Career Center will additionally be holding a Financial Aid 101 interactive workshop on Monday, January 27 at 6:30 p.m. All grade levels and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend. Topics will include the FAFSA, scholarships, grants, paying tuition, student loans, eligibility criteria, deadlines, campus-based aid, and how to reduce the cost of college.
