Students to take State tests in March, April

HJUHSD 11th grade students will take California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) Tests March 27 through 31.

In addition to the annual CAASPP testing in English Language Arts and Mathmatics, HJUHSD students will also be taking a pilot test of the new California Science Test (CAST) April 18-24: 11th grade students at Hanford West High and 10th grade students at Hanford High and Sierra Pacific High have been selected for the State pilot.

The CAASPP tests are designed to measure performance and progress of California students in grades 3-12 toward meeting California's Academic Standards. Additional information about these State tests has been sent to students' homes.
