Hanford West students and families: Don't miss out on these upcoming college and career events!
Hanford West students can take the PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) at 9 a.m. Oct. 12 at the Hanford West cafeteria. The cost of the test is $15 and can be paid at the HW ASB Office through Oct. 11.
Fee waivers are available.
The Hanford West Career Center will host a Senior/Junior Information Night for students and parents at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 13, to provide information about graduation requirements, college testing, college application procedures and deadlines, NCAA application procedures and other helpful information. Along with the HW Counseling and Career Center Staff, representatives from College of the Sequoias, West Hills College and Fresno State will be available for a question-and-answer round table.
Students and parents are invited to attend a presentation by members of the F-16 Fight Squadron from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 13 fat the the HW cafeteria. Members of the US Navy Blue Angels flight team will be at HWHS October 14 for a presentation as well.
