The Hanford High School Choirs, in conjunction with Visual Voices, the HHS Sign Language performance group, will present a Spring Pops Concert at 7 p.m. May 12 at the Stratton L. Tarvin Presentation Center. The concert will feature all HHS Choirs, Soloists, and the Visual Voices performers. Tickets are $7 and will go on sale May 9th during break and lunch. The Hanford West High School Choir is presenting Rock On! Greatest hits of Rock n Roll at 7 p.m. May 13 and May 14 at the Stratton L. Tarvin Presentation center. Tickets are $5 at the door. Come and have a great night rocking to your favorite hits, and some great young artists!
The Hanford High and Hanford West Percussion Ensembles will perform at the Stratton L. Tarvin Presentation Center at 7 p.m. May 16. Donations will be accepted at the door. The HH and HWpercussion students have been working hard this semester to perfect several ensemble pieces, including Samba, 4/4 and Storm Warning. The ensembles are under the direction of Joseph Hernandez.
The Hanford West High School bands will be in concert at the Stratton L. Tarvin Presentation Center at 7 p.m. May 17. Donations will be accepted at the door.The concert will feature the Mighty Huskies Jazz Bands "A" and "B" as well as the Concert Band and the Symphonic Band. Some of the pieces being performed will be: Riverscape, Two Fer You, The Witch and The Saint, and The King Across The Water.
The Hanford High School and Sierra Pacific High School Jazz Bands and Concert Bands will present their "Instrumental Evening" Spring Concert at 7 p.m. May 20 at the Stratton L. Tarvin Presentation Center.
