HW Huskies Band finishes season on a high note

The Hanford West Mighty Huskies Band finished its competition season on a high note last week at the Pismo Beach Band Review:

• Color Guard finished 3rd overall (instructor, Ruben Amavisca)
• Percussion finished 2nd overall (instructors, Patricia Adams and Joseph Hernandez)
• Drum Major Donnie Strong took 1st place in the Mace category
• The Band took Music Sweepstakes (the highest score on music of all bands attending)
• The Band also took overall Sweepstakes meaning they had the highest overall score of all bands attending
