HHS Band takes First Place in Madera

Congratulations to the Hanford High Marching Band and Color Guard for an outstanding performance in Madera Nov. 13. The band took first place in the 2A division and also won Best Drums!

The Marching Band and color guard are gearing up for WBA State Championships Nov. 20 at Koligian Stadium in Fresno, where the marching band will compete against 18 other schools from all around California. If the band scores in the top 5 in the 2A division, it will move onto Finals Nov. 21.

"Regardless of the outcome, we are very proud of the band and guard students and their strong efforts of hard work and dedication they have given all season," Band Director Janet Levine said.
